The Independence Day costume includes:
- a vest (fastened by hook-and-loop) of red and white stripes combined with a short blue cape of white stars
- a bow tie
- pants, fastened at the waist with a rubber-band and hook-and-loop fastener
- a top hat with foam rubber frame, made of red and white striped fabric with starred decoration
